Mission Statement

The Staff of the James E. Duckworth Regional School believes that all students can learn skills to enhance the quality of life regardless of developmental disabilities, socio-economic status, race, gender, family background, or cultural considerations.

We believe that our school’s purpose is to provide a sequential, structured, and individualized educational program.

 Instruction in the curricular areas will foster positive cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth.

 In partnership with parents and the community we accept the responsibility to teach all of the students so that they attain maximum independence.
