Employees
All PGCPS employees receive Windows logons and E-mail accounts automatically once they are entered into the system by Human Resources.
Students
All students receive Windows logons automatically once they are entered into the Student Information System.
Termination of Employment
Once an employee resigns or retires, any access to our network or E-mail is automatically terminated. If access to the network or E-mail after termination is required for in order to assist the school system, the employee must complete the form entitled Account Extension Form for Retired & Resigned & Terminated Employees. This form should be signed by the employee's prior supervisor and faxed to the number at the top of the form.
Non-PGCPS Employees
Non-PGCPS Employees are persons paid through a grant or by another Maryland institution. They can apply for accounts using the form entitled Account Authorization Request Form for Non-PGCPS Employees. This form should be signed by the PGCPS Supervisor responsible for the person's employment and faxed to the number at the top of the form.
Contractors
Contractors are individuals hired from other companies which have been contracted by PGCPS. They can apply for accounts using the form entitled Account Authorization Request Form for Contractors. This form should be signed by the PGCPS Supervisor responsible for hiring the Contractor. If remote access is needed, then an additional form called Dial-Up Authorization Request Form for Contractors (if accessing remotely via Dial-Up) or VPN Authorization Request Form for Contractors (if accessing remotely via Broadband).
