The Library Mission Statement
The Isaac J. Gourdine Library mission is to provide a collection of print and nonprint materials that support the comprehensive and international baccalaureate curriculums. It also provides research needs as well as the encouragement and enrichment of reading. The program also provides students with access and opportunities to use technology and to develop computer, information literacy and evaluation skills.

Gourdine, in partnership with parents and with the community, is dedicated to educating students from a variety of backgrounds and to maintaining a climate of high expectations in a safe, orderly environment. Our School's mission is to ensure that students will have the skills and the knowledge necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world.
