Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, members of the Governor's Cabinet, and the Prince George's County Board of Education came together to discuss "Education and The Economy," on Wednesday, February 11th in the theater of Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School. The town hall meeting is available to be viewed as a Webcast (Click PGCPS Webcasts button on the right) and it will begin airing on Channels 96, 78 (Comcast) and 38 (Verizon FIOS) on February 23.
The Governor has scheduled a series of town hall meetings statewide to meet with citizens and discuss the State of Maryland's economy and public education system. Governor O'Malley and Lt. Governor Anthony Brown are speaking with citizens about services the State provides to assist individuals and families in these tough economic times. Members of Governor O'Malley's Cabinet will also be in attendance to answer questions about State services that are available to Maryland citizens.
