Croom Vocational has a New Home

The Prince George’s County Board of Education hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location of Croom High School. The school is now housed in the former Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents (RICA) facility.
Croom High School offers college-preparatory career and technical education programs, including carpentry, electrical, masonry, horticulture, computer graphics, prostart, and business management.  Programs are divided into two areas, including the Alternative Academy for grades 9-10 and the Career Academy for grades 11-12. Currently, the school has 104 students.  The school officially moved to its new location on Monday, January 26, 2009.
