The Prince George’s County Board of Education announced that community-wide meetings will be held in January as part of a massive effort to obtain public input in the process of selecting a new superintendent for Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) – America’s 18th largest school district.
Board Chair Verjeana M. Jacobs, Esq. announced that large, town-hall meetings held in four locations across the county on January 13th and 14th to ask the public to weigh in on the traits and characteristics they want in a new superintendent. A series of daytime meetings also will be held for teachers, administrators, staff, elected officials, and community leaders.Read More (en español )
