Deadline Extended for Washington Post Educator Awards
Educator Award

The nomination deadline for The Washington Post educator awards -- the Distinguished Educational Leadership Award and the Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award -- has been extended to Friday, December 12. Original packets -- no faxed copies -- must be received by the Office of Communications (Sasscer Building, Room 201H) by 5:30 p.m. December 12.

The Washington Post Distinguished Educational Leadership Award recognizes principals who go above and beyond the day-to-day demands of their position to create an exceptional educational environment. Nominees must have a minimum of five years experience, with three in PGCPS. For the brochure, click here.

The Washington Post Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award recognizes teachers who exemplify excellence in their profession. Nominees must be full-time teachers with a minimum of three years experience in PGCPS. For the brochure, click here.
