The nomination deadline for The Washington Post educator awards -- the Distinguished Educational Leadership Award and the Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award -- has been extended to Friday, December 12. Original packets -- no faxed copies -- must be received by the Office of Communications (Sasscer Building, Room 201H) by 5:30 p.m. December 12.
The Washington Post Distinguished Educational Leadership Award
recognizes principals who go above and beyond the day-to-day demands of their position to create an exceptional educational environment. Nominees must have a minimum of five years experience, with three in PGCPS. For the brochure, click here.
