Kimberly White graduated in 2004 from Crossland High School with the hopes and aspirations of using the critical skills she learned as a student of the Technical Academy in Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) in college and as a career.
White was honored in October at the 10th Anniversary celebration for the “Cisco” Technical Academy Program. Board member Ron Watson and Maryland’s Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown were in attendance. Students enrolled in the computer networking program within the PGCPS Technical Academy are prepared to test for Cisco Systems information technology certification. White currently attends Prince George’s County Community College with dual majors in Nursing and Computer Engineering. Read More >>
