Deadline to Submit Teacher Transfer Requests
Monday, March 31, 2008 at All schools

The Teacher Transfer function is a part of iRecruitment in ORACLE that allows teachers to request a transfer within his or her area of certification to another school or location in the Prince George’s County Public School system that has an authorized vacancy. With Teacher Transfer, you can:

  • Submit a transfer request
  • Attach resumes
  • View certification type
  • Track the status of current requests

Once you submit a transfer request, principals and administrators can view the request and submit transfer recommendations to the Human Resources department. Human Resources then contacts you to verify that the information in the application is current.

NOTE: Only certified instructional personnel with at least two years and a day of experience as a teacher in PGCPS can request a transfer.
