
Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
The HRIS Office promotes efficient and effective management of human capital by connecting PGCPS staff and partners to HRIS tools, applications and HR data reports
- Customer-facing team providing direct services to HR staff, PGCPS employees, labor union partners and Maryland State Department of Education.
- Manage and facilitate use of the various HRIS data tools and applications
- Provide training, communications and outreach to inform and educate PGCPS staff on HRIS tools and applications
- Develop new processes, procedures and HR tools
The HRIS office manages information and tools related to:
- Employee Information
- Recruiting and Staffing
- Benefits Administration

Employee Self-Service: Employee Self-Service (ESS), allows employees to view and update their personal and work related information. The type of information included in ESS includes;
- Your Personal Information
- View Pay slip (current and past)
- Tax Forms
- Leave Balances and Extended Leave Request (*Extended leave is currently unavailable)
- Benefits
- Tenure status (*For instructional staff only)
- W-2 (current and past),
- Employment Verification

iRecruitment: Allows internal and external candidates and applicants to submit, monitor and progress their application through the Oracle iRecruitment candidate portal. These include;
