List of Scheduled Owens Programs

Once you have submitted your program request(s) at the Science Center, you will want to know if your class is coming.  This year you will be able to check for a confirmation right at the website.  Here are some things you will want to keep in mind:

  • Updates are made weekly.  Please check back regularly.  Your school may not be listed yet or you may be scheduled for another program later in the year. 
  • Times listed are the PROGRAM times.  The bus, which has been already scheduled for you, will arrive at your school 30-60 minutes before the program, depending on the distance of your school from the Science Center.  
  • Class size is limited to 32 students unless otherwise stated.  Call the Science Center with any special needs requests.
  • If you no longer wish to come for a program you are scheduled for, you are required to call the Science Center before the day of the program.  Although transportation is free for Prince George’s County Public School students, schools are charged for the bus if it arrives at the school and the school cancels their trip.
  • Check out the Pre-visit materials for programs.  The directions can be found on Blackboard.
  • Schools are listed alphabetically.  You may wish to copy your school's information and then paste it into a word document for your school's use.  Remember to check back regularly for additional program requests.
  • The grade level and program have been assigned to the school.  It is up to the school to decide which teacher will attend on the assigned day.
