PRINCE GEORGE'S AREA SCIENCE FAIR - 2008/2009


  • WELCOME CATEGORY JUDGES.

  • The demand for judges is still great.
  • Judging for the 61st annual Prince George's Area Science Fair will be held SATURDAY, March 28, 2009.

  • This is the 61st PRINCE GEORGE'S AREA SCIENCE FAIR !!

  • We need CATEGORY JUDGES 7:45 A.M.- 1:00 P.M., at Prince George's. Community College in Largo, Maryland. It is about a mile from the Central Avenue (Route 214) exit of the Capital beltway (I-495). Map and directions. The GPS coordinates and street address are included in case you have a navigation device. [Lat. 38.887325, Long. -76.822621, for the parking lot at 301 Largo Road, Largo, Maryland.] 
  • We need judges to judge exhibitors in both the Junior (grades 6-8) and Senior (grades 9-12) divisions, in all of the categories.
  • We also need a few GRAND AWARD JUDGES, who are knowledgable in several different categories. These are usually category judges who have severed for many years. Send e-mail to pgareasciencefair@yahoo.com if you would like to be considered for this position. GRAND AWARD JUDGES should plan to be there 1:30 P.M.- 5:30 P.M.
  • Volunteers are also always welcomed.
  • If we sent you a postcard request and you haven't had a chance to return it, please either send it now, respond electronically, or both. Please also invite a coworker. We can call you to describe the process and confirm details.
