Visual Arts Department

Mission:
The vision of the Visual Arts Department at High Point High School is to create a culture of excellence where students learn to think critically. The energy and enthusiasm of our teachers will prepare students for the future whether they attend art schools or simply gain a better understanding for why art is so important. Our vision is that the community, county, and beyond see firsthand the talent at High Point High School and for students to recognize the talent within.
At High Point High School:
- Respect for all cultures is essential to creating a unified community.
- All students can achieve high expectations for academic success.
- Successful individuals take and responsibility for their intellectual, physical, and social development.
