Math Department

Mission:
The mission of the High Point High School Mathematics Department is to provide the students with mathematical instruction that will prepare them for higher education and employment.  The teachers believe that all students benefit from the rigorous curriculum not only academically, but socially as well.  Our use of active learning strategies enables students to develop interpersonal skills that will be required in college and in the workplace.
