Welcome back! I am happy to be returning and I look forward to working with all staff members.
As the Pupil Personnel Worker for Green Valley Academy, I will work collaboratively with the Professional School Counselor and the Parent Liaison to serve as a student advocate, to assess student needs, and to facilitate or provide appropriate services. I will conduct home visits to promote family involvement, respond to emergency welfare situations for students and families,crisis supporter,investigate non-resident and out-of-district requests, interpret school policies, county policies and procedures for students and families, conferencing with individuals, groups, and parents, assisting with the homelessness, food/clothing referrals, investigating attendance/truancy concerns, and involvement with long term suspensions and expulsions.
I will ensure that as an effective Pupil Personnel Worker that every student is present, ready for learning, and responsibly working towards their academic success. Thank You.
