WELCOME to Green Valley Academy. I hope you and your child will have a very successful experience here at the home of the Eagles. I look forward to working with you throughout the year. As you prepare for the upcoming school year, please use the information provided below:
To be enrolled at Green Valley Academy, official records from your
child’s base school and an application for alternative education from
the principal of the base school must be sent to Green Valley Academy.
Be sure to provide accurate contact information on all forms provided to
you in the event we need to contact you during the school year. Provide all
information requested including your email address.
Be sure you have accurate information on the accepted styles and correct
ways the school uniform is to be worn. Refer to the dress code in the
orientation package and on the school website. Please insist that your child
wear the uniform correctly throughout the school year.
Encourage your child to read during the summer and throughout the
school year.
Review the student code of conduct located on the school website. Full compliance is expected.
Respect, readiness, and a responsible attitude are expected and must be demonstrated every day in every situation.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES: Cell phones, Ipods, CD players, MP3 players or other electronic devices will be confiscated.
OBSCENE LANGUAGE, VULGAR AND SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONDUCT,
FIGHTING, WEAPONS, AND DRUGS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
Students will receive a handbook when school reopens. They must read it and follow the guidelines given.
