A child may not be registered on a notarized statement giving guardianship.  If you are caring for a relative's child and need to register the child for school please contact the Pupil Accounting & School Boundaries Office at 301-952-6300 to schedule an appointment.

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION

Please use the check list found on each grade level's link below to gather and prepare all documents prior to coming to the school to register. There are several documents that must be completed in person at the school's Main Office.  You may not register your child unless all requested documents are provided.  Exception – new residents will be granted 30 days from the lease start date, or property settlement date, to provide 2 pieces of acceptable mail delivered by the US Postal Service to your new address.

Parents and Legal Guardians that are sharing housing with a relative or friend should contact the Registrar directly at 301-513-5911 for specific instructions.

If the primary language is other than English or the child was born outside the U.S., or has studied in a foreign school system, please contact the International Student Guidance Office, at 301-445-8460 to schedule an interview and receive assistance in completing registration forms. Prekindergarten students will register directly at the school, regardless of primary language
