  Affordable Internet -  Comcast offers a low-cost Internet program called Internet Essentials.  If a student qualifies for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and lives in the Comcast service are, they may be eligible for $9.95 broadband Internet service. Qualifying students may also be eligible for a refurbished computer for $149.99 and digital literacy training.

To qualify for the program, families:

  • Must live where Comcast offers Internet service
  • Have at least one child eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program
  • Have not subscribed to Comcast Internet service within the last 90 days
  • Does not have outstanding Comcast debt that is under one year old
