On February 4th, the Prince George's County Board of Education approved the revision of the 2015-16 school calendar that will change Friday, February 12, 2016 to a regular school day for all staff and students. The day was previously scheduled as a professional development day for teachers.
The change was made due to the six inclement weather days that were used from January 21, 2016 through January 29, 2016 due to extreme weather conditions.
While the existing calendar currently has built in four (4) inclement weather make-up days, this request will assist us in limiting the number of additional days added to the end of the school year.
Recognizing that parents' input is a vital part of the Middle States Excellence by Design district-wide process, parents are asked to complete a survey which can be accessed at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PJVDMZW The survey can also be found at www.pgcps.org under the "parents" tab. Surveys must be completed by December 3rd, 2015.
School IDs have be issued. Students must wear IDs in school. All students are required to wear their complete uniform while at school.
