The goal of the Department of Family and Community Outreach is to strengthen relationships with family, school, and community to support and increase student achievement. The Department of Family and Community Outreach provides training related to parent/community engagement; child and adolescent development; volunteer service; and establishing and maintaining parent organizations to school staff, parents and community members. The Department of Family and Community Outreach oversees the following programs: Parent Liaisons, Parents Assisting Teachers, Parent Classroom Observation, Community Outreach, and the Volunteer Fingerprinting Program.
