Maryland State Work Permits
Students may download the Work Permit Form using the link on this page. The student, the employer, and a parent must complete and sign the form. You must then visit www.dllr.state.md.us/labor/empm.shtml and follow the directions to create an account, fill our the application online, and print a receipt. Students may then bring the original signed form and the receipt to the guidance secretary in the counseling center and they will issue the signed work permit.

****Home Schooled Students – your “return letter” from the Home Instruction Office is required for registration (please call 301-333-1001 before you come to see us).
