EXCEL Academy is one of the first public charter schools in Prince George’s County, Maryland. We serve kindergarten through seventh grade. EXCEL Academy is located at 5811 Riverdale Road; Riverdale, MD 20737

The vision of EXCEL Academy Public Charter School is to provide students with a learning environment that is meaningful, motivating and celebrates learning diversity. EXCEL Academy employs a college preparatory curriculum which is aligned with Maryland’s Voluntary State Curriculum. Our teachers integrate facets of the Prince George’s County Public Schools’ curriculum based upon individual academic needs.


Before and Aftercare:	Excel Academies, Inc. operates several Extended Day Programs to service the needs of our families.
School Lunch:	EXCEL Academy participates in the National School Lunch program. Meals are free or available at a reduced price to those students who qualify.

Transportation:	EXCEL Academies, Inc. contracts the services of a state approved vendor to provide transportation for its students.
