Carlton Carter is the principal of Dr. Ernest Everett Just Middle School. He graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Technology Education and a Master’s from B
owie State University in Administration and Supervision.
He comes to us with ten years of administrative experience and eight years of teaching experience ranging from middle to high school for the Fairfax County Public School System. His prior administrative assignments were at Holmes Middle School and West Potomac High School Academy for Health Sciences, Communication and the Arts.
No stranger to the county, Mr. Carter graduated from Prince George’s County Public Schools and during his spare time he does consulting work for the Challenger Space Center.
His philosophy on Education is “Make it Happen.” Thus, greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving.
