 BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS PROJECTS

Description

Data Quality    

The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) assisted the Data Quality Office with streamlining and documenting the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Reporting process.  This project included developing workflow diagrams and summaries outlining the current processes to ensure increased data quality and timely report development and submission to Federal and State agencies.

Food & Nutrition Services (FNS)   

The Enterprise Program Management Office collaborated with Food and Nutrition Services to define measure and analyze current business processes, and identify areas for improvement and/or streamlining.

HR-Supporting Personnel     

In support of continuous improvement, Human Resources’ Professional Staffing Department strives to improve its efficiency and effectiveness by reviewing, documenting (and potentially) streamlining its business processes.  The streamlining was achieved with the assistance of the Enterprise Program Management Office that fully documented current ("as is") business processes, provide actionable recommendations and develop standard operating procedures.

HR-Teacher Staffing & Certification     

In support of continuous improvement, the Human Resources Division proactively identified specific areas of opportunity within its Teacher Staffing department that could benefit from process analysis efforts.  The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) assisted in the following capacity: development of workflow diagrams, development of standard operating procedures, and the development of project schedule templates to reflect the work of the department.

Strategic Planning & Grant Development     

The purpose of the Master Plan Development Project was to develop workflow diagrams and summaries for current business processes relative to annual Master Plan development/update. The resulting documentation will be utilized to build departmental project schedules that will aid management and staff in proper resource allocation, timely completion of duties, and monitoring of Master Plan inputs from receiving departments.

Student Services Division      

The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) collaborated with Division of Student Services to conduct business process analysis sessions to define and subsequently document current business processes, and aid staff in identifying areas for improvement and/or streamlining. In addition, EPMO will provide a collaboration document to document departmental interdependencies and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the division.

Testing Office      

The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) reviewed and documented the Testing Office's critical “AS-IS” processes; developed workflow diagrams and process summaries. In addition, process improvement opportunities and proposed recommendations were identified for acceptance by the Project sponsor.  

8       Transportation Office      The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) reviewed and documented the Transportation Office's critical “AS-IS” processes; developed workflow diagrams and process summaries. In addition, process improvement opportunities and proposed recommendations were identified for acceptance by the Project sponsor.
