The following departments at Wise High School have published supply lists as of 8-18-09. From the first day of class, students are encouraged to check with individual teachers to see if any additional supplies are needed for specific courses. Check back for updates.

Technology note to teachers and students:

• Our library media specialist strongly recommends that students purchase at least one USB flash (or thumb) drive with at least 1 GB of memory. Our computers at school are equipped with CD RW drives and 3 1/2 floppy disk drives, however, using USB flash drives for storing and transferring files is far more efficient. Students should also be in the habit of saving back-ups of their files in several places: on an additional flash drive they keep at home, on the computer at home, email the files to themselves, etc.
• The school's computers operate on Windows XP and Microsoft Office Suite 2003. This means that if students are using Windows Vista at home, they most likely are using Microsoft Office Suite 2007, which is not compatible with school computers. Therefore, Office 2007documents must be converted to the older 1997-2003 before they attempt to open and edit them at school.
