Volunteers & Donations Needed for Teacher/Staff Appreciation Events
THE FDHS PTSA IS PREPARING FOR TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION . Volunteers, Monetary Donations, Supply Donations are needed to make this week long event successful. Service Learning hours are available for the students of the families who make donations.  Information about this event is available in the FDHS PTSA eNewsleteer, on FDHS website or you can contact the FDHS PTSA Teacher Appreciation Week Chair Muriel or 301-351-9294 to learn more. Deliver all donations to the FDHS Main Office

Donations Needed during HSA SNACK: Please Donate Cases of 4oz Waters and Variety Bags/Boxes of Chips To FDHS. Service Learning hours are available for the students of the families who make donations.  Information about this event is available in the FDHS PTSA eNewsleteer, on FDHS website or you can contact the FDHS PTSA or 202.498.3514.

The FDHS PTSA is accepting nominations for Teacher and Staff Member of the Year.  The FDHS PTSA sponsors the program and the deadline for submitting 2013-2014 school year nominations is 5pm Monday, April 14. Nominees must be current FDHS employees.
The Nomination process is digital and the link to on-line voting is available on FDHS website and the link to the nomination forms will be included in the April 3 Mid-Week Update, April 7 and April 14 the FDHS eNewsletters.  All Nominations are anonymous and will only be accepted online.   You can vote here

If you or someone you know is interested in serving on the FDHS PTSA Executive Board, please join us during a By-Laws and Nominating Committee Meeting - 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 9 in the FDHS Media Center.

Nomination forms & By-Laws are available on-line and at the By-Laws and Nominations meeting on Wednesday, April 9. Digital Nominations will also be accepted from Wednesday, March 26 - Friday April 25 online, please visit the FDHS website and Complete a form today!
All nominations are confidential and elections will be held during the FDHS PTSA Parent meeting 6:30PM Wednesday, May 14.

rescheduling and ordering of Senior Pictures.

New College & Career Center

Our new College & Career Center is located in room 205.  Students can visit during their lunch periods and attend college information sessions as scheduled.  In order to visit at lunch a student must request a pass in the morning from room 205.  For more information about the College & Career Center please click here

SAT Information and Tutoring Available

   The    Certified Learning Center (CLC) offers SAT/Tutorial Programs at three locations in the County
