Parent Information
**Students are required to wear only approved uniform items to school everyday. If there is a special event for which students have earned a dress-down pass the student will have that pass prior to the dress-down day.

Winter Break Packets Released

State 2A Championship Game
Congratulations to our varsity football players and coaches for advancing to the state championship game. Although the team was not victorious in Baltimore stadium we are very proud of their hard work and achievement and received many compliments about their good sportsmanship. GO EAGLES!!!

The Frederick Douglass High School senior graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, May 25th at 2:30 pm at the Show Place Arena. Admission is by ticket only.
Art News
Our art program participated in the Gorgeous Prince George's Then and Now Mural Program. The new mural will be unveiled on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 6:00PM. The unveiling will take place at Center Court, The Mall at Prince Georges, 3500 East West Highway, Hyattsville, MD. Please come out and support the talented students of Prince George's County and FDHS.
