Parent Information
**Students are required to wear only approved uniform items to school everyday. If there is a special event for which students have earned a dress-down pass the student will have that pass prior to the dress-down day.

IB MYP Program Information for Rising 8th Graders
Attention rising 8th grade James Madison students and parents: Click on the links to find out how you can complete the IB Middle Years Programme at Frederick Douglass and earn an MYP Certificate of Achievement at the end of of your 10th grade year! This is an exciting time to make a choice to make our world a better place as an IB student!

Graduation News The Frederick Douglass High School senior graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, May 25th at 2:30 pm at the Show Place Arena. Admission is by ticket only.
Art News
Our art program participated in the Gorgeous Prince George's Then and Now Mural Program. The new mural will be unveiled on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 6:00PM. The unveiling will take place at Center Court, The Mall at Prince Georges, 3500 East West Highway, Hyattsville, MD. Please come out and support the talented students of Prince George's County and FDHS.
