Research proves that Parents play a key role in the academic success of our Scholars; therefore, school and parent communication is crucial. Our expectations are high and our DPES instructional is rigorous yet rewarding. We appreciate all of your support as we continue to mold our R.A.M.S. = Respectful - Achievers - Mindful of our actions and Mindful of Others - and Servant Leaders!

HELPFUL REMINDERS

  •  Make your child’s attendance and prompt arrival to school a priority - INSTRUCTION BEGINS PROMPTLY AT 7:45 AM DAILY.
  •  Expect homework Monday through Friday and projects on a regular basis.
  •  Plan to sign the weekly parent correspondence and view notices included in their folders.
  •  Check the Parent Portal in Schoolmax periodically for graded work, missing assignments and attendance.  Make contact with your child’s teacher.
  •  And most importantly, allot time for reading and practicing basic math facts with your children on a nightly basis.

Your presence is not only welcomed, it is needed!
