Prince George’s County Public Schools will host two events in January to help parents learn more about the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, known as the PARCC test, and Maryland College and Career Ready Standards. 

PARCC Night will include sessions to help you prepare your child, identify resources and understand how the standards inform instruction. Sessions will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Attention Parents, Chaperones, Volunteers!!
All volunteers – such as mentors , interns, tutors and chaperones - must undergo a fingerprint background check and child protective service clearance at least 14 days in advance of the day field trip, overnight trip or activity on or off school
If you are planning to volunteer or chaperone a field trip, get your clearance now.

Remember to have your child's immunizations up-to-date before school begins!  Students without up-to-date immunizations will not be permitted to attend school.
Wednesday folders will go home with students each Wednesday.  These folders contain important information for parents.
