Salary Provisions by Union

ACE/AFSCME, Local 2250, AFL-CIO -  Members of the bargaining unit shall comprise all classified employees of Prince George's County Public Schools with exception of the following: 

  1. Plant Operations employees
  2. All supervisory personnel in the Maintenance Department at grade 21 or higher
  3. All supervisory personnel in Transportation at grade 21 or higher
  4. All Central Office supervisory personnel at grade 22 or higher
  5. Temporary employees
  6. Those employees in administrative or clerical positions who by the nature of their jobs have access to or assist in the preparation of information relating to negotiations with employee organizations
  7. Those employees employed pursuant to a non-renewable Federal or State grant, the purpose of which grant is for the conduct of a non-renewable project
  8. Those employees in administrative or clerical positions whose employment is for a specific term of years not exceeding that of the duration of the then existing term of the Superintendent of Schools or any Board of Education members to whose direct supervisory control they are responsible

ASASP, Unit II  (www.asasp.org) – This bargaining unit represents certificated personnel employed by the Board and represented by ASASP.

ASASP, Unit III  (www.asasp.org) – This bargaining unit represents non-certificated supervisory and/or management personnel permanently appointed or assigned to a position for which ASASP has been designated exclusive representative.

PGCEA (www.pgcea.org– This bargaining unit represents teachers, specialists, guidance counselors, speech and occupational therapists, pupil personnel workers and psychologists.

SEIU, Local 400 (www.seiu.org) - Members of the unit shall comprise all classified employees in the Plant Operations Department except:

  1. All supervisory personnel at grade 20 or higher
  2. Those employees in administrative or clerical positions who by nature of heir jobs have access to or assist in the preparation of information relating to negotiations with employee organizations
  3. Those employees pursuant to a non-renewable Federal or State grant, the purpose of which grant is for the conduct of a non-renewable project
  4. Those employees in administrative or clerical positions whose employment is for specific tem of years not exceeding that of the duration of the then existing term of the Superintendent of Schools or any Board of Education members to whose direct supervisory control they are not responsible
