BACKGROUND:

Students and staff of Whitehall Elementary School will host a visit from Dr. Sadusky, who will congratulate and present formal state commendations to administrators, educators, and students for high achievement. They will be joined by members of state and county Boards of Education, the Superintendent of Schools, and other special guests.   

The Blue Ribbon Schools Program is a state and national program that recognizes and honors schools for high performance and/or significant improvement in reading and mathematics achievement as measured by Maryland’s assessments. These schools must also demonstrate outstanding instruction, parent and community involvement and innovative programs for their students.
