The Prince George's Chamber of Commerce partners with Prince George's County Public Schools to host the annual Principal for a Day event. The goal is to help establish active business partnerships in every school to help meet specific needs or provide enrichment opportunities for students.

This year, business partners and community leaders will visit 101 school sites to shadow principals, observe instruction, and participate in student activities and daily routines. Volunteers will come together during a reception at the end of the day to be recognized for their support of public education and share their experiences.

For more information about the event, visit the Principal for a Day webpage. Members of the media can obtain a list of participating schools by contacting lmccawle@pgcps.org.
