BACKGROUND:
Greenbelt Middle School will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the new school building. The facility will serve nearly 1,000 students in grades 6 through 8, and is designed to meet LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold standards for new construction established by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
