Gaywood to host awareness event

On National Missing Children's Day (May 25), Gaywood Elementary welcomed the  Black and Missing Foundation, Inc.'s Annual Missing Children's Day Awareness campaign. Black and Missing Foundation (www.blackandmissinginc.com) will educate students and parents about protecting themselves and encouraging children to make smart decisions about handling strangers.

"We're approaching the end of the year, and i want all my students to be educated on safety awareness, so they can come back next school year safe" Said Principal Ingrid Reynolds-Lawson.

The group will also provide national and local updates about missing children of color.
