BACKGROUND:

More than 150 students and staff from Prince George's County Public Schools will be honored at the last Board Awards Program for the 2011-2012 school year. Each recipient will receive a certificate of recognition for his or her outstanding achievements.

Among the recipients who will be recognized will include high school valedictorians and salutatorians, National Achievement Scholarship winners, Prince George's County Teacher of the Year, The Washington Post Distinguished Educational Leadership Award winner and many more.
