PGCPS To Host Groundbreaking Ceremonies for Hyattsville Elementary School

                        Retaining Wall and Fence

                        New Hyattsville Elementary School • 3120 Nicholson Street, Hyattsville

BACKGROUND:

Hyattsville Elementary will receive a new retaining wall and fence, including a concrete foundation wall and wrought iron architectural fence with brick piers and inserts for artwork. This project is slated to be completed by August. A new school is being built on Nicholson Street to meet changing program and technology needs. The new school is being designed to achieve a LEED Gold Certification. It is scheduled to open in August 2013.
