Annapolis,  MD, -- The 2012 Regional SeaPerch Challenge was hosted by United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Saturday, April 14. In an effort to increase rigor and Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) activities in our middle schools, the SeaPerch underwater robotics STEM Project (www.seaperch.org) welcomed Nicholas Orem Middle School to their annual event. The teacher sponsor from each middle school is trained by experts from the SeaPerch program, and is expected to sponsor an activity foucsed on STEM in the classroom.

Students are able to gain real experience from real professionals in the industry of engineering.”
said Godfrey Rangasammy, PGCPS Supervisor of Science (K-12)
“We want to expose our children early to a wide variety of STEM career fields.”

About SeaPerch
