Surrattsville Students Honor the passing of Tekau Rasayon with Balloon release

Clinton,  MD -- Surrattsville High School students honored their late classmate and friend Tekau Rasayon with the release of pink balloons on Thursday, March 29. Pink was one of Rasayon's favorite colors. 

 
 

 

“Remember how smart and determined she was. That’s how we should remember Tekau,” said Principal Kristi Holden. 


Rasayon, 17, collapsed while jogging on the track during physical education and died after being taken to the hospital on Wednesday, March 28.
