Schools to Close for Spring Break

UPPER MARLBORO, MD -- This year, spring break for Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) students and teachers will run from April 2 through April 9. School buildings will be open to the general public for voting purposes only during the primary election day on April 3.  


In addition, schools are closed for students on Friday, March 30, for grading/teacher planning. School system central offices will be closed for all staff on April 6 and April 9 in observance of the Easter holidays. To view the entire 2011-2012 School Calendar, click here. 


Students are encouraged to keep up their academic skills during the break. Spring break homework packets are now available on the PGCPS website at www.pgcps.org.
