Statement from Superintendent William R. Hite Jr., and Prince George's County Board of Education Chair Verjeana Jacobs on Prince George's County Council Chair and Vice-Chair elections:  

“On behalf of the Prince George’s County Public Schools and Board of Education, we congratulate Prince George’s County Councilwoman Andrea Harrison on her election by the Council as Chair and extend well-wishes to Councilman Eric Olson as he continues as Vice Chair. We look forward to working collaboratively with the County Council in our shared mission to prepare Prince George’s County students for higher education and the workplace.
