BOE to Host First Meeting of the School Year

Upper Marlboro, Maryland – The Prince George's County Board of Education will host the first Board Meeting of the 2011-2012 school year on Thursday, August 25, at 7:05 p.m.

Key topics of discussion include a report on the start of the school year that features information on staffing, class size, transportation, and more. The Board will also discuss system-wide goals for the 2011-2012 school year. For a complete Board Meeting agenda, log onto www1.pgcps.org/board/ and select the BoardDocs link.

The meeting will be help in the Board Meeting Room of the Sasscer Administration Building, located at 14201 School Lane in Upper Marlboro. To register to speak, contact the Board Office by calling 301-952-6115 by 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting.
