September 17 is a holiday for the following employee groups only:

• 10-month Teachers (includes all Unit I Employees)
• 210 and 212-Day 11-Month Professional Personnel*
• All 10 and 11-Month School-Based Support Employees*

*Employees in these groups may arrange with their supervisors to work on September 17 instead of one of the required work days that would otherwise be required before or after the 192-day teacher duty year.

All employees other than those in the categories listed above are required to report to work as usual on September 17.
