English Classes for adults
Cherokee Lane will offer English classes for adults on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 pm- 8 pm.
Registration will be on Thursday, January 5th from 5 pm - 8 pm. You must register before you can start classes. For more information, please contact Ms. Navarro (301) 445-8415 ext. 230
FAST Testing
FAST Testing will be administered on Thursday, January 5th - Friday, January 6th (3rd-6th grade Reading), Tuesday, January 10th-Wednesday, January 11th (3rd-6th grade Math), Tuesday, January 17th- Wednesday, January 18th (Fifth grade Science)
PTO Meeting
Monday, January 9th at 6:30 pm in the Multipurpose room. All are invited to come.

How do I find out if schools are closed or delayed?
You can log on to www.pgcps.org to find out. Sign up for subscription service with www.schoolsout.com Watch PGCPS TV (channel 96 on Comcast or channel 38 on Verizon FIOS). After 6 am, you can call PGCPS Weather line (301) 952-6000 and press option 1.
Homework Reminders:
Students must complete their reading and math logs every night. They are expected to complete at least one PE activity for 10 minutes or more.
Count on Us is still here!!! If you need help with Math homework, call in on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-6 pm to get assistance. Our very own Mrs. Sun is one of the Math coaches. Call (301) 772-0080 or email cou@pgcps.org.
