 SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY     

The Science and Technology Program (STP) is designed to provide students with skills, knowledge, and experiences outlined in the expectations that are needed for successful completion of Advanced Placement level courses, national scholastic testing programs, Science, Technology and Society (STS) issues, decision making and, the Research Practicum course curriculum.

The STP is a demanding, rigorous and competitive academic program; one which increases in difficulty as students progress through their high school careers. 

Entry Criteria 

Students are admitted into the program based on  three scores: 

1. Earned grades 
2. Standardized test of verbal skills 
3. Standardized test of numerical ability 

School assignment is based on legal residence address in Prince George’s County.
