Welcome to the 2012-2013 School Year at C. E. Rieg Regional School. We are excited about all that’s possible at Rieg! We are anticipating a phenomenal school year. Our Motto will remain– “Different Not Less!” Our “2012-2013 Theme” will be “Moving Forward,” which will be a continuation of programs, strategies and activities that resulted in students and staff success! With the excitement of the Adaptive Playground almost complete, additional PGCPS schools have agreed to form partnerships with Rieg for inclusion opportunities for our students. We are planning to establish a computer lab where students will be able to gain computer skills and hands on experiences using I-Pads. In addition, students will continue to engage in life and hands-on skills in our Vocational Training Site. We are “Moving Forward!” The possibilities are endless!
The Home of the Mighty Bears, where we are charged to provide the absolute best services to the most precious and dependent students in our school district. As another year approaches, it will be my pleasure to lead an exceptional group of professionals to ensure that all students reach their full educational, emotional, psychological and physical potential in a safe environment conducive to learning. Thus, in order for our work place to be fully recognized as professional; a high level of respect and acceptable work ethics must be exhibited at all times! Therefore, and without hesitation, the vision to lead and motivate professionals to focus on the multiple needs of our “cherubs” while continuing to form partnerships, with our parents, colleagues and the community remain pivotal. At C. Elizabeth Rieg, student achievement, and professional staff growth remain to be the ultimate goals for the 2012-2013 school year.
We are "Moving Forward!" Moving forward requires continuous commitment; dedication and professionalism. Experience the "difference!" - Rieg!
Sincerely,
Principal Watson
