The Prince George’s County Youth CareerConnect program (PGC-YCCP) is a 4 year STEM education initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Labor to provide over 2,500 high school students in Prince George’s County with: education and skills training; internships, college prep, dual enrollment, mentoring job readiness training, to excel in the high growth industries in healthcare and information technology.

Led by the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, PGC-YCCP is the collaboration among:

  • Prince George’s County Public Schools
  • Prince George’s County Community College
  • The Maryland Center at Bowie State University
  • Hillside Work Scholarship Connection
  • Latin American Youth Center
  • Ashlin Urban Institute
  • Business Partners (Lockheed Martin and Dimensions Healthcare Systems)
