Transitional Support Services (TSS) are provided to enable students with special needs to make a successful transition from secondary to postsecondary opportunities and/or employment. TSS consists of two primary components:
Academic and Technical Enhancement
Academic and Technical Enhancement provides instructional support to *special populations enrolled in CTE programs. Staff identifies learning strengths and challenges, and develops instructional strategies that enhance student achievement and career readiness skills.
*Special Populations includes individuals with disabilities, economically disadvantaged, individuals preparing for non-traditional fields, single parents (including pregnant women), displaced homemakers, and individuals with limited English proficiency.
Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a CTE program.
Process: Students are referred to the program by CTE teachers or other school staff.

- Academic and Technical Skills Enhancement
- Curriculum Modification
- Assessments—Interests, Learning Styles and Aptitude
- Career Readiness (Career Portfolio Development, Dress for Success, Business Etiquette, Interviewing Skills Development, and Resume Writing)
- Support for Teen Parenting
Transition Services
Students in this program will receive a variety of support services to assist them in their transition from high school to postsecondary goals. Students referred to this program have been identified as needing additional support with their transition, as well as needing assistance meeting their career goals.
Eligibility: Seniors enrolled in a **CTE or Special Education program
**CTE Programs: Business Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Experiential Learning, Project Lead the Way, Technical Academy
