Free Community Food Market - Tuesday, April 25

Capital Area Food Bank is launching their newest community food market at Bladensburg High School. Families will be able to select 25-35 pounds of free food, including fresh produce, grains, and protein. 

The market is on April 25th from 5-6pm in the cafeteria. Markets will occur on the third Tuesday of every month. (except for April due to Spring Break)

No registration necessary! Just bring your own bags and identification.

Thank you County Executive Baker for providing our PTSA a community grant to open our new weight room! Our student athletes love it! 

A+ School Rewards - Help our School! 


Beginning October ­­7, 2016, Bladensburg HS (ID#: 00405) has the opportunity to participate in and earn CASH from A+ School Rewards, a great fundraising program run through your local Giant! 

 To participate:

  • Visit and scroll down to the center of the page to select REGISTER YOUR CARD from the red box on the right marked FOR CUSTOMERS and use school id # 00405
To earn points: 

  • Use your registered Giant Card each time you shop at Giant, and you will earn CASH for our school. You can track the number of points you are earning for our school by checking your grocery receipt.
