Flexible Spending Account (FSA)


§        The PGCPS FSA plan is administered by CONEXIS (WageWorks beginning January 1, 2018)

§        This program allows the employee to direct pre-tax wages into a Health Care and/or Dependent Care FSA

§        Voluntary plan whereby employees must enroll within 30 days from date of hire or during FSA Open Enrollment

§        The maximum annual amount that you can contribute to the FSA on an annual basis is: 

§        $5,000 for dependent/child care expenses

§        $2,600 for health care expenses

§        Examples of eligible Health Care expenses include deductibles, co-pays and ‘some’ over the counter medication.

§        Dependent Care FSA contributions are limited to claims for children 12 years old and under and/or elderly care

§        You must submit proof of eligible expenses to CONEXIS for reimbursement.

§        To continue participation, you must re-enroll each year during FSA Open Enrollment (usually in November)
