Life Insurance (View Summary)

  • The PGCPS life insurance plan is administered by The Hartford  
  • PGCPS provides the life insurance policy at NO COST to the employee   
  • Coverage is effective the date of hire
  • Coverage is two (2) times the annual salary rounded up to the nearest one thousand  
  • To add or delete beneficiaries and/or contingents log on to Oracle select PGCPS Employee Self Service-Benefits
  • Life insurance is also provided by the Maryland State Retirement System (see Retirement Plan)
