The Maryland State Retirement Agency administers Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) Retirement Plan.
§ Prior to retirement you should:
§ Complete Application for an Estimate of Service Retirement Allowance Form 9 (no more than one year in advance)
§ Attend the PGCPS Pre-Retirement Seminar (Early March or Late October) or a Maryland State Retirement Seminar
§ Make an appointment with a Retirement Coordinator (within 3 months of your prospective retirement date)
